I asked her to get the ingrown toenail out of my toe, instead of doing that she cut it so short that now my big toe is inflamed and I have to wait for it to grow back to get the ingrown toenail out. In turn,all this made my nails so thin that now they keep breaking, within the first day! She also messed my toe nail up. Zen decided to use a rough grit nail file to file my nail polish, wrapped them with aluminum foil and nail polish remover then took a cuticle pusher (the metal ones)and scraped the rest off. She very rudely said "no it's not, that's rougher on your nails" and used the file anyway! Every time I get my nails done where I go, that's what they do to buff my nails.
First of all I asked them very nicely to file the gel off of my nails with the nail drill because it's more gentle on my nails, it basically buffs it off instead of scraping and sanding it off.

they are not professional at all I’ve never had to deal with something like this in my life sorry that I had to write so much but I need everyone to know what I’ve been through at the salon …. Now it’s three weeks down the road I’m trying to go in to their nail salon again after going through all that but when I was calling them they put me on block mode …. I still did not say anything about the situation. I been going to Zen Nails for quite a while at that location in Delaware University Plaza my nail tech is Jack he is so amazing and does a amazing job but I I had the worst experience with them because they scheduled me a appointment and when I got there they doubled scheduled two people at the same time then the owner ended up doing my nails which I was not satisfied with so I told him to stop doing my nails and I scheduled for the next day with Jack the next day I went back and they told me that I never scheduled a appointment again!!!!!!! When I was there the first day I had paid for my nails the next day when I went back they try to tell me that I never paid when that was an embarrassment to me and I had to pull up my statement from the bank. Because we all had to sit and wait….y would …More I made appointment at 6… but it seems like they told everyone to come in at 6 that evening. middle finger has started too on the sides… right hand, first finger is starting to peel off….I’ve gotten gel manicures before but nothing has came off in 4 days….Needless to say, won’t be coming back….Services: Manicure, Gel manicuresI usually don’t do reviews, but had to on this one… only been 4 days since I went to the media location.
